Abstract

|
Three cases of salmonella osteomyelitis for recent one year in Seoul National University Hospital were reported with its clinical experience and brief review of literatures. All of these three cases were confirmed by bacterial cultures and other supportive means. In these cases, all of the affected bones were short tubular bone. One of them expired. In endemic focus area, it is wise always to rule out salmonella origin in the case that osteomyelitis is suspicious.
